With the new flange function for the TP Premium, SIKA introduces a practical solution for calibrating flange sensors – specifically designed for applications in the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical sectors.
A newly developed, extended sleeve now allows precise calibration of short flange sensors directly in the dry block – a major advantage over conventional oil bath methods, especially in hygienically sensitive environments.
The calibration set consists of a sleeve and a specially adapted reference sensor with silicone cable and dedicated bore, designed similarly to dairy sleeves. The surface function covers a temperature range from –25 °C to +150 °C with an accuracy of approximately 0.3 K (TP3M). A DAkkS calibration certificate is optionally available.
With this extension, SIKA offers a clean, flexible, and technically advanced solution for flange sensor calibration – oil-free, highly precise, and performed directly in the dry block.
