In the event of a diaphragm rupture, a second, internal diaphragm in the pressure measuring instrument ensures the reliable separation of the environment and the process.

WIKA DMSU22SA In-line process transmitter
Versions with HART® protocol are able to transmit not only the measuring signal, but also the status of the continuous sensor monitoring of the double-tube system to the process control system as required. The in-line process transmitter can be supplied with all common process connections for sanitary applications and fulfils the applicable standards for them, e.g. EHEDG, 3-A and ASME BPE. WIKA DMSU21SA Diaphragm monitoring system with HART® protocol
The DMSU21SA operates at maximum medium temperatures of -10 ... +150 °C [14 ... 266 °F] and ambient temperatures of 10 ... 40 °C [50 ... 104 °F], and is also available as an IECEx and ATEX version. The monitoring element immediately transmits diaphragm ruptures to the system. This ensures the high-quality production of medicines and foodstuffs and prevents production downtime.
