Thermocouples of this series are designed for fitting into vessels and pipelines. Standard flanges to DIN EN or ASME are available.
These temperature sensors are suitable for liquid and gaseous media under moderate mechanical load.
The interchangeable measuring insert can be removed without taking out the complete sensor from the plant.

WIKA TC10-H Thermocouple
Thermocouples without thermowell are particularly suitable for those applications in which the metal sensor tip is mounted directly into bored holes (e.g. in machine components) or directly into the process for any application with no chemically aggressive media or abrasion. The flexible part of the probe is a mineral-insulated cable (sheathed cable). It consists of a stainless steel outer sheath, which contains the insulated internal leads, embedded within a high-density ceramic compound and is also suitable for use at higher temperatures. Features: • Sensor ranges from -40 ... +1,200 °C [-40 ... + 2,192 °F] • For insertion, screw-in with optional process connection • Connection head form B or JS • Explosion-protected versions are available for many approval types (see data sheet page 2)

Thermocouples in this series can be combined with a large number of thermowell designs. Use without a thermowell is not permitted. A wide variety of possible combinations of sensor, connection head, insertion length, neck length, connection to thermowell etc. are available for the thermometers; suitable for almost any thermowell dimension. WIKA TC12-A Measuring insert for process thermocouple
The measuring inserts described here are intended for installation in model TC12-B or TC12-M process resistance thermometers (see figures at right). The measuring insert is made of flexible, mineral-insulated sheathed cable. The sensor is located in the tip of the measuring insert. Type of sensor, number of sensors and accuracy can each be selected to suit the respective application. The replaceable, centrically spring-loaded measuring insert and its extended spring travel enable combination with the widest range of connection head designs. WIKA TC40 Cable thermocouple
Cable thermocouples are particularly suited to those applications in which the metallic sensor tip is mounted directly into bored holes (e.g. in machine components) or directly into the process for any application with no chemically aggressive media or abrasion. In the standard version the thermocouples are manufactured without process connections. Fastening elements such as threaded fittings, union nuts, etc. can also be used. WIKA TC46 Hot runner thermocouple
An extensive range of elements, transition sleeves and process connections can be individually selected for the appropriate application. With the flexibility and small diameters in which they are available, model TC46 thermocouples can be used in locations that are not easily accessible.
